With your reservation you have the option to purchase a Protection Plan for unforeseen events. This plan ensures that, for a small additional cost, you will not be asked to pay for any damage that may occur to the vehicle during the reservation.
The possibility of damage occurring cannot be ruled out, and it is very natural for the owner of the vehicle to want to be compensated for it. At the time of your reservation, we provide the option, through the plan you choose, to partially or fully assume your obligation to compensate the owner and relieve you of the relevant obligation.
The plans
During your reservation process, you will be shown the available protection plans for the vehicle you choose. Usually the plans we provide are:
- No protection: this means that you do not pay any additional costs. In this case, we may be asked by your Provider to make a charge after the booking, in case of problems or damages.
- Protection plan (with a different name depending on the type of vehicle): in this case you pay a small additional amount and you are not responsible in case of damages.*
No guarantee
Please note that no matter which plan you choose, we do not hold any guarantee when you make the booking. The amount you will pay is the basic cost of the booking, plus any additional cost you choose for a protection plan.
* Note: purchasing a protection plan does not exempt you from liability for "small" claims from your provider for issues such as:
- Tickets and fines during the booking
- Violation of the smoking policy
- Extra fuel or car charging.
- Excessively dirty vehicle, beyond its reasonable use.
- Using kilometers in excess of the allowed.
