Some hosts keep their vehicles in paid parking facilities or deliver them there. Hosts must clarify whether you are required to pay the parking fee at these facilities.
How to Find the Parking Fee
Check the "Description" field in a host's vehicle listing to see if they keep or deliver their vehicle to a paid parking facility. The host must also inform you there if you will be responsible for paying the parking fee upon pickup or return of the vehicle.
Note: If you have to pay a parking fee and the host did not mention it in the "Description" field of their vehicle listing, keep the receipt and contact us via chat for a refund of the parking fee.
Host’s Parking Fee Payment Options
If the host’s listing states that they will cover the parking fee, there are two options for them to do so.
Reimbursement
A host may send you a note in the Sync messages informing you that they will refund the parking fee after the end of the booking. Keep the parking receipt and contact Customer Support once the booking is complete. Our representative will ask you to submit a photo of the receipt, check the Sync messages for the host’s note, and refund you the amount.
Advance Payment
Your host may leave the parking fee amount in cash inside the vehicle and inform you where to find it. A cash transaction for a parking fee is not a violation of Sync’s gray market transaction policy.
