To book a vehicle on Sync, you must have an active and valid payment card registered to your account. We accept credit and debit cards, but we do not accept prepaid cards, except for Revolut.
Verifying Your Payment Card
When making a booking, you must have an active and valid payment method linked to your Sync account. We accept credit and debit cards, but not prepaid cards, except for Revolut.
We send your payment card details to your bank, which then approves or declines the transaction. If your booking is not accepted due to a payment card issue, it may be for one of the following reasons:
Incorrect Billing Address
We process the billing address exactly as you enter it, and your bank determines whether it can verify the card. Check your account details or contact your bank to confirm the exact billing address for your card. If the issue is with your postal code, try using previous addresses or your bank’s postal code.
Payment Issues
- The prepaid card you are using is not accepted; we only accept Revolut prepaid cards.
- Your card has been restricted or blocked by your bank.
Whatever the reason, we cannot verify or accept a card if the bank declines the transaction. If we are unable to verify or accept your card, please contact your bank for further details. Alternatively, you can add a different payment method by following the steps below.
Updating Your Payment Method
You can update your payment method at any time. Follow these steps to add a new payment card or update an existing one:
- Open your Account page.
- Scroll down to the Payment section.
- Tap "Update".
- Enter your full payment details and tap "Save".
- Verify the change by entering the code sent to your registered phone number or email address.
