If your booking is confirmed but you haven't checked in yet, you can change **both the pick-up and return dates**.
How it works
- Open your trip details in the app.
- Tap the "Change dates" button (you'll find it below the protection plan information).
- Select your new pick-up and return dates.
- The system automatically checks if the car is available for the new dates.
- If the car is available, you'll see the updated cost before confirming.
- Tap "Submit" to apply the changes.
What happens with the charges?
- If the new dates cost more (e.g. you added days), your card is automatically charged the difference.
- If the new dates cost less (e.g. you shortened the trip), the difference is automatically refunded to your card.
When can't I change dates?
- If the car isn't available for the new dates you've requested — you'll see a message letting you know, and you won't be able to submit the change.
FAQ
Does the host need to approve the change?
No. Date changes and extensions happen automatically as long as the car is available. The host is notified automatically about every change.
Can I change dates on a cancelled or completed booking?
No. This feature is only available for bookings in "Confirmed" status (before check-in) or "Active" status (during the trip).
What if I change my mind after modifying the dates?
You can change the dates again, as long as your booking is still in an eligible status and the car is available.
How do I see the new charges?
Before you confirm any change, you'll see a detailed breakdown of the new cost on screen. No hidden fees.
