In the unlikely event that your booking is cancelled, you can make a new booking on your own through the Sync system or call Customer Service for assistance with rebooking.
The Host Cancelled Your Booking
If we inform you that your host has cancelled your booking, you can quickly book a similar vehicle from a trusted host using the funds from the cancelled booking.
If you do not rebook within 24 hours, we will approve a full refund. If you do not find a satisfactory replacement or decide not to rebook, you can initiate an early refund. Your bank will require an additional three to ten business days to return the funds to your account.
If your host cancelled the booking last minute or you need help with rebooking, contact a Customer Service representative by clicking the Chat field.
Your Host Asked You to Cancel
If your host asked you to cancel the booking on their behalf, tell them that Sync requires them to do it themselves. If you cancel, Sync may charge you a cancellation fee. If the host's inability to cancel prevents the rebooking process, contact a Customer Service representative by clicking the Chat field.
Sync Cancelled Your Booking
If you received a cancellation notice but neither you nor your host cancelled the booking, it means that Sync cancelled the booking due to a verification issue. Sync cancellations are immediate and automatically trigger a full refund. Your bank will require an additional three to ten business days to return the funds to your account.
