In which cases will you receive a full refund - Free Cancellation Period
- If you cancel your booking 24 hours before its start, you will be refunded the full amount you have paid.
- If you have made a booking that will start in less than 24 hours, you have only one hour as a free cancellation period from the moment you made the booking to cancel and receive a full refund. For example, if you made a booking at 10:00 and it starts at 16:00, you can cancel it and get a full refund only until 11:00.
In which cases will you receive a partial refund - Cancellations outside the Free Cancellation Period
If the booking is canceled outside the free cancellation period, you will be charged according to the booking days.
- If the booking is for one or two days, you will be charged for one day’s booking, calculated at the average daily booking price. If you have paid for Extras, protection plan, and delivery of the vehicle to a specific location, the money will be refunded in full. Likewise, any additional charges related to age criteria or vehicle category requirements will be refunded.
- If the booking is for 3-8 days, you will be charged half of the total booking price, calculated at the average daily booking price. If you have paid for Extras, protection plan, and delivery of the vehicle to a specific location, the money will be refunded in full. Likewise, any additional charges related to age criteria or vehicle category requirements will be refunded.
- If the booking is for more than 8 days, you will be charged the equivalent of 4 days, calculated at the average daily booking price. If you have paid for Extras, protection plan, and delivery of the vehicle to a specific location, the money will be refunded in full. Likewise, any additional charges related to age criteria or vehicle category requirements will be refunded.
When you are charged for your booking
- If the booking was made up to 13 days before its start, the payment for the booking will be made 2 days before its start. This means that if you cancel your booking before the amount is collected from your account, you should not expect any refund.
- If the booking was made 14 or more days before its start, the payment for the booking will be made 7 days before its start. This means that if you cancel your booking before the amount is collected from your account, you should not expect any refund.
Note: The cancellation period is based on the vehicle’s time zone.
If you modify your booking in any way, the free cancellation period remains linked to the original booking time.
Cancellations due to an unclean or unsafe vehicle
You will receive a full refund for a vehicle that shows clear signs of lack of cleanliness or safety. For this to happen, you must not accept the vehicle, not check in for the booking, and contact us immediately with the necessary proof (photos, etc.).
