If you don’t show up for your booking and don’t inform us that you will not show up, in this case, you will be charged according to the booking days, insurance plan, young driver fee, and any extras you have selected.
Specifically:
- If your booking was for one or two days, you will be charged 75% of one day’s booking fee, calculated at the average booking price. For example: If the cost for one day’s booking is €50 and your booking was for 2 days with a total cost of €100, you will be charged 75% of one day’s booking, i.e., €37.50, and you will be refunded €62.50.
- If your booking was for 3 or more days, you will be charged for 2 days’ booking, calculated at the average booking price, and we will refund the remaining amount.
In any case, we will refund the amounts for any extras you have purchased, the young driver fee, the insurance plan, and 50% of the delivery fee.
If you have trouble showing up due to flight, ferry, or train travel problems
Contact your host as soon as possible through Sync messages if you experience a delay or cancellation of your flight, ferry, or train journey.
Once you know your new arrival time, communicate with your host via messages in the Sync app. Then, submit a request to change your booking through Sync’s system so your host can approve it.
If your delay is only a few hours on the same day, simple communication with your host will suffice. If you will arrive on a different day, change your booking dates. To do this, open your booking in the Sync app and select “Change Dates.” Follow the steps.
