Driver Eligibility

Your age and country of origin are some of the factors that determine whether you can drive through the Sync platform, whether you need to pay a young driver fee, and whether you can book high-value vehicles.

To make a booking with Sync

• You must be 18 years or older and have held a driver's license for at least one year to make a booking on Sync.
• You must be 25 years or older and have held a driver's license for at least one year to book a Premium category vehicle.
• You must be 30 years or older and have held a driver's license for at least one year to book a Deluxe category vehicle or a special vehicle.

How to understand why you cannot make a booking

If you see no results in your searches, if certain vehicles that you know are available on the Sync platform do not appear, or if you see a vehicle but are not allowed to proceed to the next step of booking, check the following parameters based on the above. You cannot make a booking if:

1. Your age, as stated on your driver's license, is under 18 years old.
2. Your driver's license was issued less than 12 months ago.
3. The vehicle you are trying to book is in the Premium category, and your age is under 25 years old.
4. The vehicle you are trying to book is in the Deluxe category, and your age is under 30 years old.
